How It Works | Robo Portraits — AI Robot Portrait Drawing Winnipeg
AI Portrait Robot · Winnipeg

Here’s Exactly
How It Works.

A robotic arm draws a custom portrait of your guest in real time. They watch it happen in front of them. They take the original artwork home. The whole thing takes 1–5 minutes depending on the style.

The Process

Three Steps.
One Unforgettable Moment.

From the moment a guest steps up to the moment they walk away with original art — here’s everything that happens.

~30 seconds
Step One

Strike a Pose.
That’s It.

The guest steps up to an interactive tablet. On-screen animations guide them through a quick, frictionless photo capture. No app to download. No form to fill out. No staff explaining anything. Just a tap, a pose, and a confirmation.

  • Guided on-screen animations make it intuitive for every age — kids and grandparents figure it out instantly.
  • Guest chooses their AI style — Monet (realistic line-art) or Davinci (bold caricature). Kids always choose Davinci.
  • No staff required — the whole capture process runs itself. Your team can engage guests while the robot does its thing.

Step Two

Watch It
Come to Life.

The robotic arm draws — line by line — in plain view of your event. Not behind a curtain. Not on a screen. A physical pen tracing a physical portrait, right in front of everyone nearby. People stop mid-conversation. Phones come out. The crowd builds itself.

  • Visible from a distance — the drawing motion draws a crowd on its own. You don’t have to pull people over.
  • Guests film without being asked — watching a robot draw a portrait in real time is inherently video-worthy.
  • Up to 30 portraits per hour per robot. Up to 3 robots available for large events — 90+ portraits per hour at full capacity.

Step Three

Keep It.
Share It.

Every guest receives the original physical drawing — a 6×4″ piece of art drawn directly by the robot, just for them. The moment they see their finished portrait is what gets filmed, posted, and talked about for years.

  • Physical 6×4″ printed portrait — 300 GSM high-quality paper. The robot draws directly onto it. No printing required.
  • Guests film the reveal — watching the portrait appear line by line is inherently video-worthy. That footage gets posted without anyone asking.
  • Your brand on every print — company logo, event name, or custom design placed directly in the artwork. Custom branding is a paid add-on, priced at booking.

Quick Answers

Still Have
Questions?

The most common things people ask before booking.

How much space does it need at my venue?
Up to 4 robots sit on a standard 6-foot table, with clearance in front for guests and space behind for our operator. We’ve set up in living rooms, hotel ballrooms, trade show booths, and backyards. If you have a standard power outlet nearby, we can make it work — and if you don’t, a small generator handles it just fine.
What if something goes wrong with the robot mid-event?
We always bring a 4th robot as a dedicated on-site backup. If anything goes wrong with an active unit, the backup is deployed within minutes. Your event doesn’t stop, and your guests don’t notice a thing. It’s built into our standard setup — not an upgrade.
How many guests can get portraits at my event?
One robot produces up to 25–30 portraits per hour in typical mixed operation (drawing speed varies a little depending on which style guests choose). For a 3-hour birthday party, that’s 75–90 portraits — usually plenty. For larger corporate events or galas, we can deploy 2 or 3 robots simultaneously for up to 90+ portraits per hour. Tell us your guest count when you enquire and we’ll recommend the right setup.
