A robot draws portraits of your guests live at your event. Each guest has a quick photo taken at our tablet, picks a style, and watches the robot draw their portrait in pen. They take the finished drawing home. We’re based in Winnipeg and serve most of Manitoba.

Every guest drawn during your booked time gets a portrait drawn in pen by the robot on a Robo Portraits card (6 × 4 inch, 300 gsm). It’s a drawing, not a print. Custom cards with your design are available as an add-on.

Yes. It’s great for all ages: toddlers love watching it, and adults get portraits too, including at birthday parties.

No. Our on-site attendant guides each guest through the photo and style choice at the tablet. You don’t need to brief anyone. With 1 or 2 robots there’s 1 attendant; with 3 robots there are 2.

Realistic (a clean line portrait) or caricature, each in a simple or detailed version. Full body, group and pet portraits are available too.

About 1.5 minutes for the simple style and about 2.5 minutes for the detailed style, per robot, including the photo and processing.

There’s no per-portrait fee and no set number of portraits: the limit is how many the robots can draw in your booked time. For planning, use approximately 22 portraits per robot-hour. Actual throughput varies with portrait style and event conditions. For a 2-hour booking we plan on about 45 portraits with 1 robot, 90 with 2 and 130 with 3. Yes. Every portrait is drawn on a Robo Portraits card, and custom cards are available as an add-on. Custom cards can carry your design, logo, event name or date, and your quote shows every line before you book.

Yes, if you arrange it before the event. Digital copies are an optional extra, and the price is on request.

We bring a 6-foot table. You’ll need room for the table, space in front for guests to watch, and room behind for our attendant.

One standard outlet near the table. We bring a 6-plug extension cord.

No. We bring our own internet hotspot, so your venue doesn’t need to provide WiFi.

Yes, as long as you provide power and a tent or cover over the station.

We arrive at least 30 minutes before your start time to set up, and need about 20 minutes to pack down afterwards. Setup and pack-down aren’t billed and don’t count toward your drawing time.

We bring a spare robot to every event and swap it in if a robot has a problem.

Packages include 2 hours of drawing time. Birthdays and small socials start at $799 with 1 robot. Weddings, wedding socials and grads, and galas, fundraisers and schools, start at $1,195 with 2 robots. Staff and corporate parties start at $1,395 with 2 robots. Yes. If you want the robots to pause during dinner or speeches, tell us and we’ll build it into your quote.

We reply within one business day with availability and a quote. Sending an inquiry doesn’t reserve your date or commit you to a booking. When you’re happy with the quote, a 50% deposit secures your date.

A 50% deposit secures your date. The balance is due 7 days before the event.

If you cancel or change your booking at least 14 days before the event, we refund 50% of your deposit, or you can reschedule for free. Less than 14 days before, we handle it case by case.

Yes. Extra drawing time can be added in 30-minute blocks, and you can book up to 3 robots. Your quote shows every line before you book.

As early as you can, but you can send an inquiry for any date. A booking close to the date is the same price.

Birthdays and small socials, weddings, wedding socials, grads, schools, galas and fundraisers, staff and corporate parties, and trade shows. We also do community events, fairs, festivals, conferences and adult-focused celebrations as a custom quote.

Yes. Your team can invite a donation at the station, and you handle the donations.

Yes. We serve Winnipeg and most of Manitoba. Travel is free within Winnipeg and up to 30 km beyond the Perimeter; travel further out is included in your quote. Events outside Manitoba are by inquiry.

Yes, mainly trade shows, as a custom quote, with up to 8 hours a day and up to 3 robots.
