Sample portraits

A portrait made for them, on paper.

Guests choose a realistic line portrait or a caricature, in a simple or detailed version. Full body, group and pet portraits are available too. We’ll help you balance the look you want with the time available at your event.

Each portrait is drawn in pen by the robot on 6 × 4 inch, 300 gsm card. It’s a drawing, not a print. Digital copies are an optional extra (price on request, arranged before the event).

Your quote sets out the drawing time, robot setup and expected portrait capacity, plus any travel or personalization costs.

A local team behind the robot.

Before your event, we’ll confirm the space, power and drawing time with you. At the event, our attendant helps guests and keeps the station running.

We’re based in Winnipeg and serve most of Manitoba. Travel is free within Winnipeg and up to 30 km beyond the Perimeter. Outside Manitoba? Send us your date and location so we can check what’s possible.

Questions

A few practical questions.

How many guests can get a portrait?

There’s no per-portrait fee: the limit is how many portraits the robots can draw in your booked time. One robot draws about 20 to 40 portraits an hour, depending on the style guests choose. Tell us your guest count and we’ll recommend a realistic plan.

What does the venue need?

Room for our 6-foot table, space in front for guests to watch and room behind for our attendant, plus one standard outlet nearby (we bring a 6-plug extension cord). You don’t need WiFi: we bring our own hotspot. Outdoor events work if you provide power and a tent or cover.

Does someone run it?

Yes. An attendant is included to help guests and manage the drawing station: 1 attendant with 1 or 2 robots, 2 with 3 robots.

Can we personalize the cards?

Yes. Your design on the card is $250, branded card stock is $350 for up to 200 cards or $550 for up to 400, and your logo drawn into every portrait is $250. Any extras appear in your quote.

Where do you travel?

Winnipeg and most of Manitoba. Travel is free within Winnipeg and up to 30 km beyond the Perimeter; beyond that it’s $2.50 per km (one way), per event day. Events outside Manitoba are by inquiry.

How do we book?

Send your date and event details. We reply within one business day with availability and a quote. When you’re happy with it, a 50% deposit secures your date, and the balance is due 7 days before the event.
